“LA GLAMUROSA”
(Bali, Indonesia)

Bringing future Latin sounds to Bali for one night stand in sight & sound

We got together with the boutique, tropical clothing brand “Tiiiga” from Chile to create a one off night of booty shaking debauchery!
It all happened in a tiny hidden attic space off the beaten path in the Petitenget neighborhood of Bali.
An intimate affair, where guests were shaken by a ‘mezcla de vibraciones’ sourced up from the festive ‘gaiteros’ shuffling their feet in the sands along the Caribbean coast of Colombia and were moved by the syncopated rhythms sourced from the Carioca slums of Brazil; and get set to be spiced up with sounds ripped from the darkest alleys of Havana. - Sept 29th/19. A Boutique Sunset Series

Postcards from Paradise” is a boutique sunset series created by FNF.
The series has been held at iconic locations worldwide including; Sandy Bay Beach Club on Nusa Lembongan Island in Indonesia and Vadada Beach Lounge on Jeju Island, South Korea, for example.
It features Balearic soundscapes, island-inspired cocktails, and the finest sound selectors from around the globe.

For our 1st PFP event series, we collaborated with Bali-based, ex-pat artist; Stevie Anderson, a designer, creator of amazing stuff, and all-around legend to bring just the right flair to help us kick start our boutique sunset event series with some amazing artwork! (See Stevie’s PFP series#1 artwork below)
The one-of-a-kind piece he created for us displays his playful vision of the picturesque location where the weekly event series was held.
For our 2nd season, we worked with local Balinese artist Satria Nugraha who has previously designed for powerhouses including; Motion Skateboards, Channel Island Surfboards amongst many others. Satria has held exhibitions at key design institutions in Bali including “Deus Ex Machina” - exhibition space and “The Slow”-Gallery and received an Honorable Mention at the 1st NBC Tokyo International Screenprinting Biennale to list just a few of his select accolades. (See Satria’s PFP series#2 artwork above)
*Our Postcards From Paradise sunset event series on Nusa Lembongan continued for over 2 years and was the most consistently attended event on the island.

Friends Not Foes - Video Installation -

“NIGHTMOVES” @ Potato Head Beach Club (Bali, Indonesia)

This is a brief sample clip of the video installation created for the “Night Moves” event series held weekly during 2018 at Potato Head Beach Club (Bali). Here we utilized previously conceived art aspects from the PHBC creative team and then collaborated with local digital creative master Rama Rowi to create an hour-long video projection piece to engage the dancers under the mirror ball.

HAHA Industries (Australia)

HAHA%2BRing%2B2-page-001.jpg

Events, Artist Touring & Music Curation

Throwback to the summer of ‘05. HAHA Industries was co-founded by Dean Dixon and a close-knit group of like-minded pals and aided by many accomplices along the way during their more than decade-long lifespan in Sydney, Australia.
It was born out of a collective want to “save our souls” and those of other Syd-city folk from the onslaught of the subpar, banal, and quite frankly, downright yawn-able events that were all too common at the time in a city that was and still remains poorly supportive of the artistic community living within it.
So the crew at HAHA Industries set out to create nights with a soul born from classic house parties on a jammed living room (dance) floor/stairs/kitchen bench in a little ol’ Surry Hills terrace. The Collins Street domain saw it all. Wine on ceilings, pans on heads, and eviction notices. Not to mention a few polite interjections from the boys in blue. Thereafter; the hop from venue to venue, warehouse to warehouse, beach to beach, boat to boat, and beyond began. The primary goal in mind, solely to showcase some of the most forward-thinking, underground sound & interactive arts events around. Where you would find an unparalleled line-up of both well-established & unearthed talent, plucked out from across the city, country & globe - monthly for over a decade….until we decided to take a break from hosting duties in 2016. Collectively over the years, HAHA Industries hosted an amazing array of world-renowned artists.
Handpicked selectors at the top of their game and on the rise alongside local talent, across a wide spectrum of sound.
